The Homeland of Pictures – G. Pollock

The full title of this essay is, The Homeland of Pictures: Reflections on Van Gogh’s Place Memories (2004), by Griselda Pollock. I include it here, because my own work contemplates and is a reflection on landscape traditions in Ontario, Canada; where I was born and currently live. I also studied at Leeds, where Pollock developed and sometimes delivered the M.A. Feminism and the Visual Arts program I work towards and received. I greatly appreciate her insight, perspective, and intellect.
