Sale finds can tell you something about your art environment, art history specific to the place, culture, society, and yourself.
This is the latest buy of mine, $6 cdn, frame included from the charity store Value Village. People donate household items, clothes, etc. and sale proceeds go to the Diabetic Society of Canada. It just needed a gentle cleaning. I buy paintings from community sales that appeal to me to hang in my living space because I like too, simply. They hang with items, prints, photos, by students, and anonymous artists, my own paintings, and professionals.
