Informal Searching(s) and Findings / About

Why Paint? I’ve been asked this too many times, and this is my way of reply. My wish for this blog is to include theories by painters on painting and theories by theorists from diverse fields who have commented on painting: resources, quotes, clippings, film and audio.

    Lesa
So much good reading about art on the internet; yours is now on the must- read list. Two artists that you should look up, for their painting and their writing, Nicole Collins and Michael Davidson. I have a painting by each, so I’m kind of biased. I do think that they’d enjoy your work and you theirs.
Thank you for sharing your work with everyone.
    Cheers

But then, why blog? (I sense infinite regress coming on)
I am really enjoying your blog. Lots of interesting content, lots to see, lots to think about.

Some time soon it may well be ready for a change to ‘Why NOT paint?’ Thanks & welcome, Lesa.
